need to vent

i am SO SICK of being the only one doing anything for this wedding.

WHY ON EARTH would FH tell me 'so & so's GF is pissed b/c we didn't put her name on the invitation...

please, dont let me get into how many addresses on FH's side were wrong....

*I* checked all of my addresses, made sure they were right and the correct names were on them...

and WHO had to resend the invitations with the correct addresses?

\blah...

sorry girls, just nt having a good night. I know I'm being a whiny bish, but i just need to be one right now.

I am sorry hun...that's men for you! Just so this GF knows, proper protocol is to invite them as 'and guest'. FH and I were living together, and before we were engaged, I was always guest. Who cares!!! He should thank you for your hard work!!!

I swear, until we were engaged, I always was 'and guest'...even to FSIL's 40th birthday party and as recently as February! This girl is just cranky because she is taking something personal that she should know is just etiquette! Some people think this makes their status with their significant other mean something because they are insecure!

BTW, my FH tells me tons of stuff that just pisses me off and he shouldn't tell me...men lack the gift of common sense! Things you and I would never repeat because they are minutia and only would upset someone men would because they don't think twice about it...this is the female brain vs. the male brain!
