need to vent....

Anybody resenting everybody and everything around them? I know it’s exhaustion. I am just trying to do to much. Between work of course, and then every morning it’s been something else. The meter guy, the cat grooming, drop off the car, pick up the loaner, we saw a play on Wednesday that I was just dying to get tickets for pre-pregnancy and that night was just dreading it, guitar lessons, trying to fit in dinner with a friend – and now my husband’s family is in town and he wants me to go to all these dinners with them – starting tonight in the city through Father’s Day. I am just SO tired!!! I tried to explain to him and he says I am never happy – I told him there is a big difference between never being happy and feeling like I am going to throw up 24 hours a day – but really – he just doesn’t get it. Don’t get me wrong – he’s being wonderful. I have everything I could need, but he just wants life to go on as usual and I am dragging my load around like I am dying or something.

Just wanted to make sure this is normal. I am sure it is. It’s just that I feel so drained I can barely state my case anymore to him and just want to roll over and go to sleep!!!!!

How much longer till I feel that elated thrill everybody keeps promising me?

I think you need to be honest with people and lessen your load. Maybe you can day a day off from work and not do anything for anyone else. Also, in all honesty you NEED to rest more. Tell your DH's family that you will join them twice, but that you are just so tired. I bet they understand.
