Well I emailed all my girls about my Bachorlette party I would like to have it in AC and they all said in the email oh thats sounds great. But I heard these am from one on my friends/BM that she called her complaining that it was in AC and how expensive and how boring its going to be but she was just there with her boyfreind last weekend and she had fun... I am still not 100% on AC was thinking of doing something in the city. I thought its supposed to be fun and I almost want to have nothing!!!! I also want to almost go to AC on spite LOL

Do what you want to do and do not cancel your Bachorlette party all together!
I am probably going to have something more low key, dinner and a night out. Maybe even an off-Broadway show!

Def do what YOU want to do! If they don't want to come, that's their problem. It upsets me to hear this, b/c I know how you feel. I'm 'over 35' (not saying) and have been in tons of weddings, and been to tons of b-parties and have gone out of my way for other people. The least they can do is be there for your big day!! Now I'm venting LOLOL
So I say just go with AC if that's what you want!!

People are going to complain thats what they do. Its not about them. Do what you want to do and don't let them influence you to change your mind! If they don't want to come they don't have too!

I had a very similar situation... and YES i am still going to AC next weekend
i initially invited 15 girls to AC but when all said and done there are 6 of us going plus my mom, aunt and 2 of her frineds..
It was not expensive at all. Yet everyone thought it would be and coudnt afford it etc etc- It was $135 Per person for 1 night.... that is with 5 in a room and comedy club Dinner and drinks obviosuly more when we are there, but my sisiter requested everyone bring a bottle of something as well..
so, we are going to my other friends Bach party and limo alone is $65 a person...
So GO TO AC

Dont cancel your party! If no one will plan it, you will have to plan. I'm afraid of this myself. I will most likely end up planning mine since my sister is OOT and I doubt anyone will step up to the plate. I say just book a room and whoever makes an effort to come then great!

You shouldn't cancel your party b/c one person is unhappy with the plans, you will never please everyone. I would continue with your plan for AC and if she can go great, if not you will have your other girls with you to party it up! You're not making a crazy request to fly to Vegas for a few days where it would be very costly! AC is defintely a reasonable request!

I think I did a package deal in the city for my SIL bach party. We went to like 4 bars, but the package included a limo bus and a sex instructor and drove you to each bar and then to our hotel. I will try to find the package for you and send you it. I know one of the bars was called Down the Hatch, but all the bars were owned by the same person.

I Say AC :) so many hotels, so many bars to chose form and you chose your party- a wild club night, or a fun comedy club and karaokee bar :)

Do what you want honestly it's your day. All my friends that had bachelorette parties I went even if it was expensive or not what I would like bc it's about the bride not me!!! I had a great time bc it's about being with friends.
It's flat out rude to complain to you! UGHhhhhhhhh people!!!!!!!
Thankfully I had zero complaints and my MOH was well aware to deal w no BS.

hey crashing here....i say do whatever you think you will have the most fun at, when are u thinking for having ur bachelorette? If you can do it in the summer, i say ask ur girls if they would rather go to fire island. Give them both options to choose from, fire island or AC (with price quotes) and they will see AC is cheaper so they will shut their mouth ;)
