So DH was supposed to have an interview last wednesday. The guy missed his flight, so it was rescheduled for Friday. Thursday he gets a call, cant do friday, will do Tuesday (yesterday)
As of 1pm yesterday, he hadnt been told where or when. Calls them, they cant do it that day, they will do an 11am phone interview today.
11:30, he still hasnt gotten a call.
Now, this is a recruiter calling for a gov agency, and one of his dream jobs, but is it just me, or is this a little ridic?
soooo: he called to find out why he hadnt gotten a call for the interview... and got offered the job....
with maybe talking to someone for 5 minutes....
does this happen?

it wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt exactly what he wants to be doing, being a lab tech for a gov agency, but its getting really ridiculous. I know they are in VA not NY, but its soo disorganized.
He is callign them now, hopefully it goes well

yes, this does happen. more often then not in the govt field if youd believe it
if he wants the job, just say yes. dont worry about asking questions now (except for salary)
when i was interning (through a company that did a lot of contract work for govt), i got a call for an interview. and instead of interview they just asked when i could started
...turns out i hated the job, but whatever...lol
