Need to vent about Bachelorette party
Hi girls! So i just felt like i needed to vent about what is going on with my bachelorette party! I'm really fed up with almost my entire bp and girlfriends going along except for 2 of them! After lots of brainstorming my MOH and i came up with the final idea - we were going to all go to hershey pa...go to the day spa there and get chocolate massages or whatever the girls wanted to get for themselves...then go to the park for the rest of the day and go out in a nearby town. even though the town nearby looked bad, i figured there were bars and being iwth my bestest friends i'd have fun no matter what, long as we were drinking!
sounded like a plan right? WRONG!
first the spa didnt have times on that saturday so we said we'd do the park saturday and spa on sunday after waking and being hungover(haha), it'd be nice to relax. Two of the girls said they had to leave immediately on sunday cause one of them had a flight, though i understand that completely. I was slightly upset cause i told her that i'd help with booking a flight and i kept asking if she was ready and she never told me she booked it! i would've told her to book it as late as possible on sunday, instead she booked an early one...but whatever im not as mad at her, just annoyed she hasn't been answering any of emails. But the other girls! three of the girls who are driving from LI started complaining about who was going to drive. I have a sports car so not a lot of room plus i'm the bride! i shouldnt have to drive! they didnt want to use their car bc it would put mileage on their car!?! huh? they arent selling it! and we'd all pay for gas and tolls!! 2 of the girls live in the city so they dotn have cars so they couldnt do it! so one of the LI girls who didnt want to use her for mileage purposes said she looked into renting a car! she would rather pay for renting a car(something per person) plus all the gas for it and returning it with a fulltank and she would drive rather than take her own car and drive and not have to pay for gas at all cause whoever drives we decided didnt have to pay for gas! what !?!?!
so she's willing to spend money on that BUT she doens't want to do the spa bc she doesn't want to spend a lot of money!?!?! the spa there is actually really cheap! you can get a massage for like 60 dollars!! then you have fulla ccess to the whole spa so we could hangout the rest of the day! nooooo! she'd rather rent a car?! her sister is the same way! and two other girls! sooooo basically my MOH and I would get massages and they would hangout in the hotel the spa is at! so instead of doing the massage and then enjoying the facilities available to us, we'd have to get a massage and go cause everyone is waiting for us!!! that is not what i wanted!!! and hershey is really cheap with the discounts we have! adn the hotel is super cheap!! so what are they spending money on?? renting a car!!!! though when one of the girls had theirs last year we HAD to go to AC and spend lots of money ona hotel and drive there ourselves and do lotsof activities there!
i got really upset and frustated and mad today! i dont think that should happen as a bride with the bachelorette party!! at least i have my MOH and my MATRON OH being sweet about all of it!
so with the two girls help we are coming up with a new game plan and the girls will have to deal and i refuse to hear anyone complaining...we are going to do a spa day in the city...my best friend is tryign to do research of a spa that does chocolate massages, does anyone know of one??? there is one in bellmore on LI but we want to stay in the city. then we're thinking Beer Gardens in Astoria for like happy hour/pregaming(unless it rains then margaritas inside at a bar)....followed by some karaoke in the city...bars in the city....hotel in the city..and in the morning lunch/dessert at max brenner for choc desserts!!! I'm sure ill have a great time and my friends love creating drama, but i just feel like i take so much time and energy to plan for their birthdays/celebrations/anytype of party fo rthem....and i never complain to them if i'm unhappy, i suck it up! and no one can do it for me!! i'm done going out of my way for them from now on!!

oh also my sister had heard about some scavenger hunt type thingy in the city for bridal parties...has anyone heard of these? any recommednations?? was it fun and worth the money??
