Need to Vent about MIL's comments about TTC

That's why we're not telling ANYONE! (except everyone here )

Yuck! What an awful and old-fashioned thing for her to say! Was she serious when she said that?

If so, then maybe just try to ignore her- it may really not be what she thinks of your relationship- it sounds like she just has really weird and old-fashioned views on men!

My goodness! If I saw her, I would ask about her personal sex life and when she did not respond with everyday I would make some rude comment like 'WOW< I can't believe Dad (or whatever you call him) has stayed with you all these days.

OK I wouldn't say it, but I would REEALLLY want to!

She was 100% serioius. She is soooo rude and nasty all the time about everything.

Part of me hopes she says something to me tomorrow just so I CAN say something back to her.

I went to Target tonight to buy her a muzzle, but they dont sell them in her size, oh well!

Anyway I still can't believe that she said that in the first place!

I would tell DH to please NOT discuss this with anyone anymore and that you feel its too private. People can only interfere in your business if they know about your business.

Saturday came and went without a peep from MIL. Although she did rub my belly like she was making a wish. She didnt say anything though. His sisters did...but what can I do, they all know we're TTC now...ugh. WIsh it was a private thing. I asked DH not to give out any more details

Oh yeah, DH knows!!
She rubbed my belly. I felt like kicking her. ha ha
She rubbed my belly MONTHS before we were even married and told me I had to 'give her grandbabies...at least TEN of them...all girls' AHHHHHH She makes me want to scream. My only saving grace is that she lives almost an hour away from me on Long Island.

Thank God for small favors! ha ha

She is just a stupid woman, I mean really, just dumb. She never finished the 8th grade. On top of that, she is rude and mean and selfish. I kept quiet for DH. I didnt want to upset him and it's not his fault that she is obnoxious. If she says anything else I will say something though. DH looked at her and said 'are you KIDDING ME??' and left it at that. Last time he said something to her and put her in her place, she cried for a week and he had to go out there with flowers and say he was sorry a million times...UGh so not worth it.

WOW! Sounds a little like my FMIL, but worse so I cant imagine...
Hope things get better.
Tell DH that once you do get PG to not run to her, or it will get worse..though sounds like he knows better just slipped...
