need to vent already....update

I am getting very upset when me and fh found my e-ring it was in white gold so asked if it could be set in yellow they said yes they have to take the center stone off and put it on a yellow gold setting, ok fine well i get the ring and it was yellow gol for maybe 2mths then it turned half white ,so i go to bring it to the jeweler in the mall and they were gone anyway i found them 45min away @ another store the guy was very nice and said that my ring is unique and was ordered from hong kong and doesnt know if they still make it.so he went on vacation 1mth ago he still didnt call so i call just now and he still didnt come back to work .What am i to do? fh spent alot of money.ORRY SO LONG IM REALLLLLLY MAD!!!!!!!

Just called them again and he still isnt there im gonna scream its been over a mth

I would start dealing with someone else there like a manager or supervisor.

lol he is the manager and the owners son and the owner passed away so he is pretty much the guy i have to deal with

all sales are final i have it certified and appraisal papers for it so im sure it will help someway

oh that's terrible!!! do you know where in hong kong the ring was made? you could probably bring it to Zales at Roosevelt Field to get one of the jewelers there to just give their expert opinion on what's going on with the ring. You can also compare prices on some of the Hong Kong jeweler's websites. The more famous ones are:

Even if it was made somewhere else, they should be able to create a new one from your ring....they would need to make a mold of it & stuff...my jeweler liked my Grandmother's antique pendant I brought in so much that he asked if he could copy it...so i don't see why they can't do this for you? Ask them if that is a possibility maybe? good luck!

Otherwise contact the Better Business bureau or Help Me Howard or something like that...they basically lied stating they gave you a yellow gold setting when it was only dipped in yellow gold!
