So...I met with a florist yesterday....I had such a horrible experience that I dont even think I want flowers.. Everything I wanted he told me wasnt in season...maybe some werent, but EVERYTHING..i find that a little hard to believe...second, he keps pushing lilies, which I told him several times, that I was allergic to, and that they make me sneeze, and really dont like...I would suggest something, and he would say, ' ok, then we can add lillies'.....***!!! they happen to be the house florist for my RH- and the cp are included, EVERYTHING was an upgrade..that was all he kept saying...I finally had to say, 'listen, i dont care about the money, I want what I want'......then finally, after the 50th time he mentioned the D**m lillies, me and FH said ok, we need to re-assess, we will contact you..... Am I crazy, or is this just a little insane!! God sorry so long....just really needed to vent!!!!!!!

I would first tell your hall of the experience you had since they are the house vendor there and are including the CP's. I am sure they will do something about it and if not, I would defiantly put up a fight to take some $$ off the hall if you need to go elsewhere for flowers.

The florist is the banquet managers father...and happens to be FI stepfathers friend.... But I am going to tell them I am using someone else..we will see what they will do....
Eeeh.. I'm so sorry you had to deal with such a moron. I hope everything works out...

YEah thats not something that you should have had to deal with, once you said you were allergic that should have been the end of the story! I would use someone else-obviously you will end up with lilies somewhere even if youdont ask for them

I'm no flower expert, but I don't understand how no flowers you want are available when your wedding is in the summer time. Go speak with a different florist because you shouldn't have to settle for anything on your wedding. Good luck!

I am so sorry you had to deal with that crap! I know how much that can ruin one's day. Definately talk to the facilities.

What's the matter with being allergic to lilies? Why don't you just carry around a box of tissues with you-they are white..... DUH< that florists obviously has a listening problem!
