Need to vent.It took me almost 2 hours to get to work yesterday.....

and an hour and a half to get home last night and another hour and a half to get to work this morning because of traffic.All this aggravation for a job that pays sh*t!

Wow, thats rough... i dont think i would be able to do it.. i luck out im only 10 minutes from home and what a stress relief that is...Can you find another job closer to home?

Sue, I am with you! An hour and 15 minutes yesterday morning and and hour and 20 this morning, grrrr. I live in Centereach and work in Melville....NOT FUN!! I totally understand your vent!!

I definetly feel your pain. Until 2 weeks ago I lived in Selden and worked in Hicksville. I could not stand the commute. Hopefully you will find a job closer to home soon!!

I work on the borderline of Nassau & Queens & I live in western Suffolk.

I know.Last night there was an accident on the Southern State and so the other side was backed up from rubbernecking so I took a different road which was also backed up with an accident.

I know what you mean, I have my timeshare to use in November!! That is the bad thing about changing jobs, losing vaca time and I have about 5 weeks a year now!!

I feel your pain. I live in Patchogue and work in Melville. The commute ****s, period. I'm always on the lookout for something further east, but so far - nothing! What is the deal with the traffic? I've even contemplated the Rideshare program, but I do alot of client visits all over the Island during the day and I never know where I'm going to be or when I'll need my car. Short of taking a helicopter to work, I'll never get here on time

I hate sitting in traffic....It totally brings out the worst in me

I had to commute from Queens when I went to St. John's University. It was HORRIBLE the traffic

I undersand how you feel, I used to work in Melville, and I am so glad that we moved our office to Babylon. It takes half the time for me to get to work.
