Need Unique Bridal Shower Ideas...

Hello all, I'm new to these boards..

My sister and best friend in the whole wide world is getting married, Being her MOH, which is truly an honor, I would like to throw her a shower that's all about her.. using pictures of her, dislaying pictures of her, using them for the invites, and incorporating all her favorites things in her bridal shower.

She loves clothes, fashion, music, NYC night life, you name it.. does anyone have any ideas on how I could do this? what kind of theme could I have? I it possible to have her be the theme? how can I do that without being cheesy...I want to honor her and blow her away!

What could I use for favors? centerpieces? I want to give something people could use but incorporate her lifestyle into it all.

I think its great the you're so enthusiastic about the shower! Your sister is lucky!

One question/word or caution: obviously you know your sister better than us, but would she be comfortable with you using her picture on everything? I think that might be a bit much, but it depends on how its all done.

Yes, I hate to say this but she LOVES to be the center of attention, I mean, not in a bad way, but she would love it.. When I say having her pic everywhere I mean, like for the invites and perhaps posted somewhere.. you know? like she's a celebrity? I must sound ridiculous.. she's quite a diva and I really want her to feel like one on this day.. I want her to never forget it..

I think having her as the theme is a great idea! The whole party is in her honor right? Plus there are lots of ways to incorporate her image and style into the party without being really embarassing. I threw a party for a friend and used her photos all over everything.
