i have 3 vendors that i was not completely happy with. there were problems that none of the guests would have noticed, but of course they were wrong to me. i was so busy with everything, i didnt have time to complain that day plus i really didnt want to. should i call them and complain? should i just leave it? i dunno if the problems are bad enough to ask for a partial refund.
please dont quote!!

Re: need ur advice
depends on what your problems with them were ...
but if you feel like they did something that was not right, you have the right to complain.

I think it really depends on what the problems were. What were the problems?

i would take the approach of calling them to make them aware of the issues not intending to get a partial refund (unless you were WAY unhappy) and see where the conversation goes. i would at least say to them that youre calling to make them aware and to ensure that the same thing doesnt happen to a future bride.

I think it depends on what the problems were exactly...different degrees of customer dissatisfaction could warrant a partial refund, but some degrees don't.
Sorry they weren't what you expected 100%.
But if the guests didn't notice, then I'd probably leave it alone unless it was something major.

Um yeah. I'd ABSOLUTELY call about those things. Maybe not the photog thing - did you ask them to take group pics at the hall? If so, then call.
Obviously 'must-play lists' and 'flowers that are not dead' are expected to be delivered.

Dead flowers -- I would DEFINITELY complain!
DJ -- You could voice your concern, but they only have so much time...I think it's more of a suggestion playlist. You probably won't get anything back.
Photographer -- I would complain if you had agreed that he would take group pictures at your hall. GL!

well if thats the case that that is totally WRONG!! dead flowers?????? unacceptable. should try for a refund.
the must play list.. ok i get not playing a few songs here and there.. i think you should call and complain - ask what the point of a 'must play list' is then. doubt youll get a refund.
pictures - how were the rest of your photos? sometimes its really hard to rally up a group of people numerous times for a photo. i would be happy that you at least got the group shots at the church.. i would probably call them and let them know.
sorry you have to deal with this.

I would definitely call. Maybe not the photogs if you didn't tell them what pics to take, but DEFINITELY the flowers.

It couldn't hurt to call and complain-especially if you're disappointed, just to get it off your chest. Sorry these things happened

Re: need ur advice
I would complain about the dead flowers...No excuse for that....They may refund you a bit, or give something off if you use the florist.
DJ-I have been told the main songs for dances (first, mom, dad, 1st dance, cake, bouquet etc..) should be done as requested...DJ's then give a list of songs you would like played..They usually try to play from them, and it sounds like they did...but maybe due to time or guest requests, or the feel of the crowd they didn't... I would leave that be if it were me...Sounds like everyone had fun dancing.
Photographer-I might call him, but a group shot is hard to do, and if he was able to get one at the church (which I usually see done), then I don't think it is expected to do it again unless you stressed this to him...I am not sure if you did? Gathering people once people usually go for, but to get them together again would be awkward for some... Just my 2 cents.

Re: need ur advice
The only thing I would complain about is the dead flowers. I had the same thing happen to me at my first wedding and was flipping out. They did nothing for me but I was so mad. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did.
