Helen's in Wedding World in Commack is where I purchased my dress and tried on the dress. They had plus sizes to try on.
Also bridal elegance is another store I found had plus size bridal gowns

RK Bridal in the city.
The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park.
They had large plus size selections went I went to those places. I ended up getting my dress at RK Bridal and the price was good.
