how do u address someone who isn't married anymore

and another question

if u aren't doing inner envelopes do you write and guest on the outer invite ?

are they divorced or widowed? If divorced, then Ms., if widowed then still Mrs.

we have FSIL who is now separated from FBIL...so we are doing

Ms. first name married last name (since it wont be changed by the timeof the wedding)

I would use Ms. I personally like Miss but in my experience many people use Ms.

And yes put Mr. so and so and guest on outside

I usuually use Miss for like younger kids.

Ms. is the abreviated from of Miss - both are acceptable since they mean the same thing.

Miss is used for anyone who is under the age of 18 years old.

Ms. is used for anyone older than 18 who is not married, and also appropriate if they are divorced.

Mrs. is for married women, and for those who have been widowed.
