my moh is getting married a few months after me - in march 2013. yay!!!
we are thinking about perhaps a restaurant with a private room near mineola or babylon. we're loving the idea of a tapas restaurant - i found a few on google, some which look promising. has anyone had tapas on the island? if not, can you recommend a few places with a good variety of food options (lots of picky eaters)? also, good parking is a must!!!

Babylon Carriage House has a brunch. I think that is where mine will be but now my mom is being cryptic!

I had my shower last weekend at Jonathan's in Garden City Park - not tapas, but we did a Sunday sit-down brunch and everything was great from top to bottom!! The sit-down brunch menu offers the guests a choice of seven different dishes which might help with your picky crowd!

Jonathan's in Garden City Park is a wonderful place. Had been there in my friends bridal shower a few month earlier this year.

Vinoco has amazing tapas, but unfortunately, it's TINY. Seriously, you should probably only consider this if you're having 20 people for the shower. But the food IS really good.
Novita is a really fun place with good food and wine, so that would be a great choice!

yeah that just opened up - i live in mineola and notice that place is always packed!!! its on our list of places to check out. and actually it will be small - about 20-24 ppl :)
