Need venue help

One of my BM's is getting married this november. She is looking for a really cheap place to have her reception whether it be a hall, room, loft etc. Does anyone have any suggestions of places in brooklyn or queens?

Verdi's of Westbury was super reasonable... so maybe Verdi's of Whitestone is too?

Also, the day before Thanksgiving is a budget-friendly date, if she's looking to cut cost :)

She should check out Astoria Manor- we checked it out since we live in the neighborhood. They aren't expensive & they do include alot for the money-even give you favors for the guests.

I just remembered they had mentioned they were having a tasting on August 10th (I think that was the date) maybe she can call & see if she can go then

If she isnt having a huge party, Giardino's *owned by Russo's* is in Douglaston Queens, and has party rooms. I believe one of their rooms can hold 60 people. HTH!
