We would really like to get married July 18,2015 and still haven't picked a venue. Luckily, we are not deadest on this day, but id really like it if we can get it. We would def like an Fri or Sat evening. The problem is...we want to have a smaller wedding and I like venues like Riviera and Stewart Manor Country Club, but FH doesn't want to go that far (we are in mid-Suffolk) Does anyone know of venues that have the same look/feel of the Riviera and SMCC in the Suffolk area? We can't afford too much a head. Im hoping that we can afford the small wedding I am trying to plan.

Might be a bit far east but Lombardi's on the Bay is nice and they hold I believe max 150 or 170 so I'm sure your minimum would be much lower than that. I have quotes for the other Lombardi's locations (I believe they're all the same since Villa Lombardi's and Lombardi's on the Sound were the same)if you want, FM me =) Also, check out the Watermill in Hauppauge, I believe they have a smaller room as well.

What is your guest count? Mansion at West Sayville might be nice, I believe they had a 75 or 85 guest minimum (I'd have to check my papers at home). I agree with rcotter Lombardi's on the Bay is nice as well, or the View in Oakdale, but I believe they only do day weddings on Saturdays?

The Vineyards has beautiful cocktail hour and nice ball room. Also Georgios cocktail hour is beautiful and both locations only do one wedding at a time at reasonable prices.

Miller Beach Surf Club. I believe their minimum on Saturday is 75. The Mansion at West Sayville also has a small minimum and I believe their prices were reasonable.
The View only does daytime weddings on the weekend and their minimum is 100.
The Vineyards is expensive. I'm having my wedding at the Irish Coffee Pub and I know they cater there. The BM at ICP said they easily charge 20 bucks more a head for the same menu.

I second West Sayville. I am having a Sunday wedding there and the minimum is 75. The maximum that they can hold is 200.
