Check out WineSpectator.com

My aunt hosts Thanksgiving every year and usually serves Beaujolias, it is REALLY good... light and crisp, goes perfectly with a Thanksgiving feast! Another favorite of mine is Coppolla's Diamond Series (Black Label) Cabernet and Frog's Leap 2000 Merlot. Ravenswood Zinfandels are great too.

If you want whites, Robert Mondavi DOES make excellent Chardonnay, and Pindar's Sunflower Chardonnay is superb. I wouldn't recommend any other whites for Thanksgiving besides Chardonnay, I don't think a Pinot Grigio or a Sauvignon Blanc would stand up well with the strong flavors of Thanksgiving.

(Can ya tell I'm into wine???)

Good luck with your decisions!!!

my two favorite vineyards are Raymond and Blackstone...both California wines...and in your price range...

I have to try Pindar's Sunflower Chardonnay. I tried another Pindar wine this past weekend, and it was excellent. It was a sweet red wine.
