This is a repost from the BHB board just in case any of you haven't seen it
I have found wedding invites that I absolutely am in love with. The problem is a friend of mine did them for her wedding last August. Now, we only have 2 other common friends (latina511 is one of them). No one else will have known that she did them for her wedding only these two people. Do you think it would be okay if I did them for my wedding too??? I really need your honest opinions here. Do you think I should call her and ask her or at least let her know? Or do you think I should just go ahead and use them w/out telling her? I know she probably wouldn't mind..she is not weird or anything like that. But I just want to do the right thing....I have looked all over high and low for other invites but my heart is already set on the ones she did...Here is a pic. Thanks!!
First I think those are ASOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Second, I would definitely use them. I personally wouldn't mind if a friend of mine used the same invites as me. If I were you I would just call her up and let her know. I don't think you have to but maybe you should just to make sure there are no bad feelings down the line. I know you said she probably wouldn't get mad, but you can never be 100% sure.

Angela I love them! If the two friends you have that would know are cool with you, they won't say a darn thing Go for it!

They are beautiful invitations and if I were your friend, I'd be honored that you chose the same ones! Give her a call and tell her if you think you should but I don't think it would be a big deal, especially since her wedding was a year ago.

if you truly love them more than anything get them!!! It's your wedding and you should have what YOU love!

Honestly, if you're close to your friend I would definitely not use them. If not, I would make sure they're a different color.

I would definitely call her first and see what she says. People getting touchy about wedding stuff from time to time. If she's cool, USE THEM

i love them! they are so elegant and beautiful! I think you can use them! I agree with marcela-definitely call anyway so she @ Least knows that you were being sensitive to her feelings! it's not like you are getting the same wedding dress as her! besides the fact she got married already!

Is she the type to get mad or be angry.. I would tell her first.. then go for it.. Only 2 people will know that they were the same, and u love them

I would let your friend know that you are considering using the same ones - see what she says. Also, does it come ina different card staock or different ribbons/flowers? That make make it just different enough to appease everyone's worries.
I think they are beautiful.

it doesn't come in differnt colors or diff. card stock. the only thing it may come with a diff. type of flower.
