Need your brilliant jewelry suggestions..

I posted this, but dont see it on here, maybe It never got posted./.anyhow..my dress is halter style, but with alot of beading on it, I wasnt originally going to wear a necklace, iw as afriad Id look overdone, but now Im thinking I need something..can anyone suggest what would look nice, something simple, and if so, can you tell me where an inexpensive place would be where I could buy it??? Thanks VERY much!!! I hadnt even looked at jewelry except for earings!! Thanks

JMO - but I would stick with your original idea. I wouldn't wear a necklace with a halter especially one with a lot of beading as you say yours has. It seems like a necklace - in any length - would take away from the neckline and detail of the dress.

What about chandelier earrings instead?? Or dangle earrings? Something with a little more substance.

GlamGal and Perfect Details are two sites that were suggested to me from some brides on here...

Good luck - I'm sure whatever you decide, you will be a beautiful bride!

I don't have any pics for you, but probably a simple, dainty pendant, either pearl or diamond may be nice.

Check-out QVC, they're diamonique is very nice and inexpensive. I think it's QVC

Thanks..I will check out both of your suggestions. I do think either nothing or very simple.I just feel bare when I tried it on, my tiara is very sparkly and so are my earrings, I didnt think this would be so hard.
But thanks ladies for your help. I'll check out those options!!!

I also think you are better off without a necklace if you have alot of work on the dress. I'm not wearing a necklace because of that, and I have a scoop necked dress. What about a bracelet to match your earings? Fortunoff's has some nice things, and Macy's is having a one-day sale today.

I'm also wearing a haltar-style dress and I didn't think I would be able to wear a necklace with it. But when I tried on the dress at Macy's, the woman helping me put a really pretty necklace on me. It was almost choker length but not quite that short. I wish I had a picture so I could show you because it's hard to describe, but it's got CZs on it, and has pieces dangling down from it.
That's not a good description - sorry! But it looked so nice. I didn't get it because the price was ridiculous, but I'm going to try to find something similar.

I just had to add that I can't wait to read your review on the GW Manor!!!!

Jess..why doesnt it surprise me that you know of every sale!! hahahahha
I dont know if my dress is ALOTof beading, or just alittle beading, what may be alot to me, may not really be alot to someone else..so Im confused. I go for my second fitting friday, maybe Ill bring in my veil and tiara and earrings and try on a few necklaces just to see the whole thing together, my sister is BRUTALLY honest and will tell me if I look too much. But maybe I should just stay without.hmmmm...

Alicia LOL They are having a good one, I almost bought my BM gifts last night (preiew sale) but decided to wait That sounds like a good idea to bring your stuff with you to your fitting on Friday.

I vote strongly for no necklace at all. I think even something simple would be overdoing it.

Alicia, your dress is stunning. I'll let the younger, more fashion conscious girls guide you on the jewelry, but would you please tell me where you got your tiara? Do you have a picture of it.
I've been to Georgetown Manor several times for dinner and once for a wedding. You will definitely have a wonderful day.

Alicia,

What a georgeous dress. I agree w/ some of the other girls, a necklace would be too much I think. Drop earrings though, in rhinestones or pearls (depending on what your beading is on the dress) would look stunning I bet, if you are wearing your hair up.
