Need your Help

My sister who is my MOH will be flying in from San Diego on Jan 6th, so I have 3 days to go dress shopping ( both bride and BM) with her, because we also have to drive to Maryland to see my brother and my niece. Not that I mind, because I am extremely close to my brother and my niece who is absolutely gorgeous (she is 6 months old)
But it is so hard to do all of this wedding stuff without her here. She is an ER Vet and she works overnights, so we try to do things via email/cell phone, but between the time difference and her work hours, I have been so stressed out.
So I need your help LIW girls!!!
Where should I start?????????????
I made an apt with Bridal reflections in carle place,
and I figured that I would try Lilletes and the Wedding plaza?
Where have you gone that you loved?
I would appreciate any recommendations you guys can give me!

i agree unless she is going to purcahse it that day maybe a big chain is better but here r some stores that i know of lilletes is great and so is the wedding plaza try rk bridal and the wedding salon too i wish i knew more to help u out

i went to bridal reflections in carle place for my wedding dress. Go there def! ask for Tracey from the wedding dress dept. Tell her your situation and that Elyse (who was on LIW) bought her dress through her and recommended her. She was more than willing to help me in ANY way possible. SHe was a great outsider that helped give input that was unbiased. she doesnt usully work in the bridesmaids dept, but she was willing to come and help me, so ask her!!!

also,dont stress!!! this is the best time of ur life!!! discuss things via email, and schedule together like 1 hour every 4 days that will be just wedding related, so u stress as little as possible!

and lean on us as much as possible to de-stress

I dont want to rush and buy anything. I just want to have some sisterly time as I try on my first wedding dress and she tries on BM dresses.
The wedding salon in manhasset?
Anyone know any places in queens?

by the way, most designers at Bridal reflections are major designers, she can order it at another store if you give her the dress information! in her own sizes (im doing that with one bridesmaid who lives in Israel now!)

If we decide to buy there can she call in her measurements? That way at least all the dresses come from the same lot?

they will take her measurements when u go there, but yes u can call them in. but if u know the designer and the exact dress, she can order it from somewhere else and have it fitted at her convenience
