MY FSIL just got engaged and wanted to start looking at RH's. I am so excited for her. She is on a budget. She wants to spend no more than 75 pp with taxes an gratuity. with about 75 guests. She loves the look of Leonards but they won't give prices over the phone. Do you guys have any suggestions and prices? She wants to get married August 2010.
Feel free to FM me the prices. The Ceremony will be in the Bronx so we would only want to go to nassau.
TIA

Re: Need your help
That's weird about leonards not giving prices over the phone. They worked with me over the phone without a problem. I can let you know that shecan definitely get something around that price there if she is willing to do an off peak day or month. They're much more reasonably priced than they seem. You can ask for Anotonio if you want. Hes the BM that worked with my mom. She had no issues with him.

Re: Need your help
Leonards quoted me a price of under $65 a head for a Friday night wedding. We booked with them after comparing that price to other RHs. The other ones like Swan Club quoted me $70/head which wasn't bad at all. Our minimum is 50 guests. HTH.

Re: Need your help
When I was looking at reception halls, I went to Leonards. If I remember correctly, I was quoted $85 per person before tax and grat. It was also for a sat night in july of 2011. I spoke with Antonio. The menu included a lot of options. For that price, I don't think you can go wrong.

I thought that was common. I live in FL and called them to get quotes and they basically told me that I would have to set up an appt when I was in town. I will be sure to tell her to ask for Antonio. Do you mind sharig what they quoted you? Feel free to FM me. TIA

Re: Need your help
all the quotes were before tax and gratuity (usually 18-20%). The cheaper RH's for me (for Fri/Sat evenings in October) were Leonards, Coral House, WM, and Manor East in Massapequa.
