Here's the scoop: me (bride) - 5'8' size 12, (ETA: FM for dress details) silk shantung dress BM1 - 5'11' normally size 20, will be 7 mos pg at wedding BM2 - 5'11' size 10 BM3 - 5'6' size 12 BM4 - 5'1' size 20 BM5 - 4'11' normally size 0 or 2, just had baby
I knew it was going to be a challenge anyway, but the pg BM has put me over the edge. The BM dress sales people's eyes get really wide when I describe the BMs.

My suggestion would be to get some that would flatter them all. Don't get any clingy material that may make them uncomfortable. I would stick with something flowy and long. If I see a picture of what I mean online I'll post it.

Usually in my experience A-line shirts can be flattering on many different shapes. I used to be bigger then I am now and I did not like wearing tigher fitting clothes or any strapless. JMO

I would go for a dres that is flattering to all body types, or pick a color and let them pick out which style dress they will each feel comfy in..that might be the best way to go!

I say pick a color and let them find a style that suits them, this is what I did and it was great for all of them (inlcuding a 7 month PG BM) and looked great in the pictures

i allowed my girls to choose their own dresses. granted, it was murder, but in the end, all the girls looked beautiful, complimented one another, had dresses they'd wear again and were within their budgets and flattered them...however, it was stress on me. so i would agree with picking a color and/or fabric and letting them pick the style. a lot of lines have this option like davids bridals, eden bridals. good luck

Two of my girls are going to be pregnant at my wedding and the rest range from a size 2 to a size 18, I picked a color and all the girls are wearing that color. Much easier. Good luck!!

What if you choose the color and fabric and the designer and then let them each choose the dress that flatters them most.

My girls are similar (both large and small sizes) and I had them buy seperates. This way they could pick which pieces they felt comfortable in and was most flattering for every size and they are still the same designer and color.

I had a similar problem with my BM's...I have all different body types....I went with an A-line skirt & a top that would flatter everyone....I made sure everyone was going to be comfortable in the dress & then gave them 2 choices of color...Majority won on the color!

I was going to suggest seprates or as others have said - pick color like euro wine and have each bm pick a dress in the euro wine family from the same designer.

My BMs also have different shapes and live in different states, so I asked them to wear a long black dress without sleeves and they can pick out whatever dress they would be comfortable in. I feel it has saved me a lot of hassle.
