incorporate my 8 year old cousin into the ceremony? We were not planning on including her, but now, 2 months before the wedding, her mom voiced her strong opinion that we find a way for her to be part of the ceremony. She can't be a Jr. Bridesmaid b/c we'd never find a dress that color (charcoal gray) in time I don't think. We already have a RB and FG.
We're not doing programs either. Could she perhaps hand the glass to the rabbi for FH to break?
Any other ideas?

Unfortunately, no. Our ceremony is in the same place as our reception, so we can't throw anything.
Any other ideas???

There's no law against having two flower girls... If your FG is a little one, your cousin can act as a helper....making sure the petals get thrown, the FG doesn't get shy, etc... Just think, when they walk down it will be double the 'Awwwww' factor. You will make your little cousin's day by including her in your ceremony.

did u try to call ur dress shop? tell them ur situation and maybe they will be able to do a rush delivery...it definitely doesnt hurt to ask

you could also choose to do her dress in a different color if you want since she'll be the only jr bridesmaid. maybe in one of your accent colors or matching the flowergirl.
maybe she could be your 'assistant' and help you out. like 'the bride's little helper' straighten your dress, hold the throwing bok, hold your pocketbook.
or as someone said ^, she could help out the fg and rb if they're really little.

if you werent going to have her as part of the BP...i dont think asking now is the right thing to do. Esp if your only doing it to make family happy.
