Need your help on a project for marriage class

hey girls..

ok so i'm taking this theology of marriage class and i signed up to do a short presentation on marriage in my culture. just cultural differences in values etc etc .. not more than 5 mins.

now i'm not really sure what people would be interested in hearing. so can you help me out? what would you be curious about when it comes to indian weddings, and more so indian marriages?

When they preform the ceremony what meaning does it represent.

It is my understanding that the ceremony is long. So what do the various acts during the ceremony stand for.

Also, the brides face is painted with makeup so as not to see her real beauty during the ceremnony. Is that true?
