Need your Help with RSVP

Hi Ladies,
I have no idea when to send a thank you to the people who rsvp no and sent a check. Do you send one immediately or do you send one after the wedding when you have your official thank yous? I would appreciate any and all advice!!

I only received one check so far, and I sent a thank you immediately out. I don't intend on sending a photo thank you to them after the wedding, or to anyone else who might still rsvp no but send a gift. Reasoning being...well, in my case at least lol, they don't care enough to come, so they're not going to care to have a picture of us either.

When we first got gifts a few months before the wedding, I was sending out TYs immediately. As we got closer to the wedding, I stopped.

I sent everyone who sent gifts TYs with photos -- for the people who didn't make it, it was even easier because I could say 'we were sad you weren't able to join us at our wedding, but I hope you enjoy these photographs of our special day! thank you for your generous gift!'

i am doing both...i sent out a normal thank you when i got thecard..then after the wedding i wills end another one

I waited because I am sending thank you cards with pictures on them and want people who didn't' come to the wedding to get those as well. They shouldn't be expecting one to come before the wedding. Besides you have enough to do.

I am waiting but it is mostly out of sheer laziness. DH had about 70 relatives (no exaggeration!) who did not come to the wedding and I had about 30 and most of them gave a gift. I don't think I could bear to send out 100 people two thank you cards so I am giving them all a picture one.. I dread writing out thank you's for 270 people when the time comes!
