Need Your Opinion

My fh and i were thinking we might want to add another photogragher to do some photojournalistic shots...It is another $1000 more. Should we go for it or not bother

then before the ceremony the second photographer can go to your fiances place...

I'd do it....the worst thing I did was try to save money on my photographer, if I didn't have my table pictures I would have shot myself! They did not KNOW the meaning of the word candid!! Candid shots are so awesome!

Definetly!! We are having a candid and a main photographer!! I love the look of candids yet posed pics are always a tradition! Go for it!!

Lots of people have posted reviews where they said that they would have felt like photojournalism would have left a void if it weren't part of the day.

I say go for it!

We're doing it... I think its soo worth it! This way you have double the chance of getting great pics!! JMO! We're using Proline as well!

If you can afford it, I say go for it! I know myself, if I only got a bunch of traditional and posed photos I would be very disappointed.
If you don't want to spend the extra money, maybe you could tell your photographer that you would like some photojournalistic pics and he can try to get some of those too. I think $1000 for a 2nd photographer is pretty reasonable though.

I'm a bit of a photography geek and I insisted that we have a second photographer -- our wedding hasn't happend yet, but I think I am going to be pretty relieved knowing that the photojournalistic angle is taken care of -- if you want to 'justify' the cost -- have them shoot in black and white -- that's what I chose for the second photog -- and so I knwo we will have traditional, color, journalism and B&W -- in other words, all our bases are covered! As I say, this will be the most well documented wedding ever!

i vote yes.... Patken says that 1 person can do both duty's but i'm think i'm gonna ask for another cameraman (woman) anyway...

I would go for it. When we booked we just did a regular photographer. FI really wanted the photojournalistic one, but had them hold the price for us. Some of the best shots I have seen recently are photojournalist so needless to say we went back and added that on. I say if you can afford it - go for it!!
