Need your opinion...
I teach at a Catholic school and we decided to get married at the Church there even though it isn't my parish. I'm happy because I feel like a lot of my students will be able to come, and even be a part of the ceremony (some will be altar servers, and I was thinking of having some of them help with programs and bubbles if they were interested!).
Last week we had a small performance by the kids who performed in the NYSMA contest, and one of the students played 'Trumpet Voluntary'. Made me think... I should get a few of the kids who play trumpet to play outside of the Church!! I really wanted to hire trumpeteers but its not really in our budget.
What do you think about asking some of the kids to play as guests walk in? Honest opinions please! I know they won't sound as good as professionals but HOW CUTE??
