need your opinions!!!

hi
i need your help!!
iwas going to have a white isle runner with dark red rose petals scattered all over the runner
problem- my florist told me that the dark petals could stain my dress
she think i shoul do a wine colored runner with all cream petals
please let me kow what you think
do you think this will look good or to much???

I actually think the wine colored one with white petals would look so beautiful! Is wine one of your colors though? It might look like too much with the BM's if they are in the same color. Plus the shades might clash!

Is the wedding in a church? or outside?

If it's in a church I just wonder how much a wine colored runner will show up.

I think it would look nice. My church has a wine colored runner and i plan on doing the white rose petals.

my girls are wearing wine with cream roses.

I havent even gotten to this stage yet but when I saw you write 'stain my dress', I have to say go with another color.

I think the wine would be pretty, but, if the ground is at all wet, the runner may run and stain your dress too. I don't think the flowers will stain your dress. It is only going to be the underneath rubbing against them and its not like they are going to stick to you. Just make sure you shake out the dress when you get to the end of the isle so none are stuck on you. Either way I think it will be pretty. Just match the girls dress color to the runner you get first to make sure they go together.

I think you should definately go for the ivory rose petals. If you are worried about matching the color try originalrunners.com. They make custom made runners - thats were we are getting ours from.

I have the same colors and it's overlooking the beach! lol! I haven't spoken to my florist about the runner yet, but I was thinking about skipping the runner and just having a lot of rose petals. If you really want wine colored petals, why don't you use silk ones. Noone would even know the difference.
