Need your opinions......

I was cleaning my basement when I found a box. Inside the box was stuff from when I was previously engaged. So inside the box were the shoes that I had bought. My questions is would it be bad if I wore them for my wedding day? They are brand new in the box. Honest opinions I am on the fence with this.

MMM i know some will say no .. but its up to you .. would Fh be upset by that if not then if you still like them go for it .. its not like you wore them ......

I don't think it's a bad idea to wear them. I would advertise to anyone what you originally bought them for. Iwas engaged before. He passed away and i am wearing some stuff I bought for that wedding

hey why not...if you never wore them. They don't have any meaning to you from the previous relationship right? if not, then i say go for it!

If they go with your dress........then YES, by all means, wear them!
They didn't get worn the first time, because the relationship didn't make it.
However, this relationship is going to last forever.
So, the shoes are symbolic of a successful relationship, and should be worn!
These shoes have been waiting to be worn! They required you findingthe right man, which you did, and they need to be worn!

if you're on the fence aboutt hem then dont do it
i personally would not

sell them on ebay
use the money you get to help you pay for new shoes

Thanks everyone. I still have no clue what I am going to do. I am trying to put myself as my FH and I really think that it would bother him if he new where they came from.

I'd feel weird wearing them. I agree w/the idea of selling them and using the money for new shoes. I'm so weird about things like that though. I'd even buy the same EXACT shoes and be okay w/it, as long as they weren't that pair. But, then again, I'm crazy!

I say start New!!!! Forget the old shoes and just get a new pair, you are only gonna keep remembering that they are the ones from your first engagement....JMO

I would say if you can talk about it with your FH and he doesn't care then by all means wear them. Unless you think it will bring back memories or something
