Need your opinions on putting a thank-you w/ favor

Ok so these are our favors:




They are 4x6 photo albums. What I wanted to do was write a little thank you and insert it in the front cover there (where a pic could go). Problem is, each album has a plastic cover on it which is SO difficult to get off! I had to nearly break the binding of the album to get the plastic off to insert the paper into the front! Not worth it!

My question is... do you think it would look really stupid if I printed the thank yous on small labels and stuck the label to the plastic cover? That way they don't have to keep it if they don't want to. What do you think? Is there another option?

I wouldn't.

The label might get stuck to the plastic and then people wouldn't be able to see whatever picture they want to put in there.

Are you sure that's the only way to get the plastic off?

In any case, I don't think it's really necessary to put a thank you thing in there since they'll get thank you cards when the time comes!

Well of course we'll be sending out thank you cards later, but we wanted to say something thanking our guests for being there on the day of.

do you have to take the plastic off in order to insert a picture? maybe just make the thank you card on thick card stock and it should slide right in without taking the plastic out, no? HTH!

Yes, unfortunately to get the picture or whatever into the front insert, we do need to remove the plastic cover. I am not sure what to do!

Awww thank you!!!!!!!!!! They are actually photo albums! We fell in love with them when we found them! Not sure how many of our male guests will like them but oh well LOL! They can give them to their wives or girlfriends or moms

what's on the inside cover? If it's blank then you can put a nice label there. Or maybe insert an index card sized thank you in the first photo slot inside the album, kwim? like if it holds 4 x 6 photo, make it a 4 x 6 thank you, with maybe a picture of the two of you on it!

edit: just read that its a 4 x 6 album!
