Need your opinions please

I posted this question on brides helping brides but got no responses. I am wearing white and my girls are wearing black. FH thinks it is a great idea for him to wear black and his guys to wear white. He thinks this will look great. I have never heard of or seen this and told him no but am now starting to think it over. What are your opinions and do you have any pics of bridal parties that did this.

I dont personally like guys in white, but thats just a personal preference, so I think thats what it come down to...The idea itself seems cute, if you like the white..why not?

My sister had a black and white wedding. It looked beautiful. All the guys were in black and the girls wore a bridesmaid dress from David's bridal style number 8015. Sorry I don't know how to post the link. It looked very elegent and pics were great.

a black and white wedding DOES look really nice, hoowever you may want to do it the other way around where He wears white (or maybe a white vest etc) and the guys wear standard tuxes...because you are getting married in the fall (and because it is your day and you should be the center of attention) i think it could be too much white...however if you share it with him....i guess that would be ok

I think the groom should wear white also if any of the men do. I agree that you two should stand out more. Maybe white vests for the men with black shirts?

I agree as well- sounds like an overkill of white if the GMs wear it... If you FH wears it it would look nice though! Or like some of the other girls mention, white vests/ties

as it was said in another thread, not all the guys can pull off the all white thing, just like we dont feel comfortable in some colors, the men might not like or feel comfortable in white...

Personally I REALLY HATE a man in a white tux - I think it looks incredibly tacky .......i'm SO sure i'm offending someone right now, so I apologize in advance, I just feel SO SO SO strongly about it !!!! It's a little to 'pimp style' for a formal event.......

I think that the only person in white should be you, so you stand out from every one else on your special day. I think that it would look really nice with you in white and every one else in black.
