My mom is on her way to take my grandmother to the hospital
She called my mom this morning and said she was up since 4am w/ diarrhea with blood in it (sorry for the TMI)... this is really not good...

Ok so here is the official update! My mom took her to the doctor. A month or so ago, she had a bladder infection and was given VERY strong antibiotics for it. Apparently, antibiotics have the ability to kill off the 'good' bacteria as well as the bad b/c it doesn't know the difference. The doc seems to think it killed off her good bacteria thus causing all these other issues that she's having. So now, he put her on another medicine and this powder stuff she has to drink once a day (blech) but she'll be okay!!! SUCH a relief!!! Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!!!

I'm glad she's going to be okay! Crazy! My grandmother had a bad UTI and was on a REALLY strong antibiotic recently and also had a horrible reaction. It was really scary. I bet it was the same one!
