Need your prayers..... UPDATED sorry its kind of long
I just got home from the hospital. I really dont know waht to think or say except this whole thing feels like a dream!!!
FHs cousin was out on a date with this guy she met a few weeks ago. Their date was over and she was going to met up with some of her friends at some lounge. THe guy she was out with wanted to get her a cab, but melissa being herself wanted to walk. He did not argue with her.
THey said good night and about 15-20 mins later he got a call from a stranger telling him she was just hit (the stranger found her cell phone and was calling all of her most recent calls)
We think she was crossing the street and the woman driving the hummer was making a turn and hit Melissa with her side mirror.
She has a broken eye socket, some of the bones in the back of her head and by her neck are broken. They said she is in critical condition but she is stable. They are saying she is on the borderline and can go either way right now. They said they have to wait at least 4 days to see how she is doing. They keep taking her in for CT scans to see if the swelling and bleeding on her brain get worse. As of right now she has had no change.
Please pray for her and for her family.
Please tell me this is a dream and im going to wake up in the morning and everything is going to be ok.
This morning
I got a call from FH this morning.....
He told me his cousin was in the city last night and was hit by a drunk driver, who was driving a hummer. She was just a pedestrian. (She is only 21)
She is in very critical condition. They cant tell us if she is going to make it. But does not look good at all.![]()
They said she is in a coma, and had a lot of internal bleeding.
When she landed after getting hit she hit her head. They said she has a massive about of bleeding on her brian. And where the bleeding is they can not opperate.
Right now they have a bunch of tubes in her draining everything.
