Need your suggestions and help re: hair jewelry

Please see pics below of what my hair will look like at the wedding. My hair stylist suggested that I get decorated bridal bobby pins for this style....I have been looking around on the internet and I can't find anything that I really love. I am having a hard time picturing what this style will look like with hair jewelry...PLUS, for the reception I want to have a fresh flower in my hair...

So, what do I do, no hair jewelry for the ceremony (just my veil), and then put the fresh flowers in my hair for the reception?

Or, get some bridal bobby pins and nix the flower...or both??

Opinions please!!

Go to www.theknot.com and do a search for bridal accessories.

What about a brooch?? I think it would look nice with your dress. I think you need a little something for sparkle.

Al, I would even consider a haircomb, tucked into one or both of the sides. I do not have pictures here at work, but if you wait until tonight I will see what I can find.

I found a side comb and some pins in the Smith Haven mall - don't remember the name of the store - but when I asked at customer service, they knew where to direct me.
Have a pic of my hair w/ the comb visible in my album - 6th pic from the top.
HTH.

My Suggestion:

Ceremony - hair in the pic as is w/veil
Reception - hair in the pic w/out veil and w/flower

The hair jewelry will take away from the simplicity and elegance of the curls and style all together. The hair jewelry will also clash with your dress which IMHO is victorian and the hair pins would just take away from the whole feel.

Christine, what if I did something simple like this pearl hair clip? I will most likely be wearing my mom's pearls (a single strand necklace, dainty earrings and a single strand braclet) on the day of....so, do you think this would work or would it be too much pearl?

Where exactly would you put it? I interpretted the original question as using multiple hair pins throughout the hair. But, if you're going to use one clip - like the one you posted, that's perfect and not overwhelming at all.
