Need your wonderful ideas

Need your wonderful ideas

hello again ladies, for those that don't remember im the one with all those problems in finding a place.

well i gave up! I talked to my FI and he said i don't care what we do as long as i get married to you. now you know that made me feel nice.

So, Emmanuel and I always wanted to get married outside, on a beach or a garden. Well Gurney's Inn has a beach wedding for $750 that includes all. Then what the heck lets have a Bar-B-Q. Now im stuck again! Where to have it? lol. I think a really nice reception hall is not going to do. Do you guys know of a park that allows parties. Im still trying to figure out if someone i know has a big back yard.

Does that sound cheesy. Emmanuel and I love having fun in any situation. so i don't see why that can't work.

Any ideas for that? Your responses are very important. thanks

I don;t know anything about BBQ's, but I think that's a GREAT idea.

NOT cheesy at all... The whole idea is 1)to celebrate your love for one another and 2)to have fun!! I think alot of times we lose sight of the fact that you don't need limos and flowers and a fancy hall to be happy!! Plus, you can still do a casual/elegant thing...

We are getting married outside too...

What about the Casino at Davis Park on Fire Island? I have eaten there (food is great) and have heard that they do parties for a reasonable price...

Good Luck!

the beach wedding ceromony. it includes the runner, chairs, decorations on the side of the chairs and a little stage that you get married under.
if you go to the website and you look at photos its in there. but i only want the wedding ceromony there. they are very expensive for everything else. the pictures explain it all.

How about Lido beach under the 'mushrooms.'
It is a whole outdoor BBQ area that people can rent out.

If I had it my way, I would have a BBQ, but FH is the one who wants the big wedding. $750.00 that is a great price. Good luck if I hear of anything that your looking for I'll let you know.

i would like and that is the price just for a wedding on the beach. but that is 75% chance i will do that if i find a park to have a fun party afterwards. Its going to be 4th of july so of coarse family is already together.

i trying to make easy and fun on everyone.

I just sent you an FM, but I think I forgot to say that Lido Beach is on Long Island (the South Shore). I don't know if you can have a ceremony there but it certainly doesn't hurt to ask! You can probably call the Nassau County Parks Dept. for details.

Maybe you should look into the state parks and see if you can do anything there. I also know that you can have a reception at SUnken Meadow beach, its owned by Lessings.

To answer your question, no, nothing is ever good enough to please everyone. So, aim to please yourself!

I think you can have a wedding at Belmont Park. check that out.
