So DH and I went to my parents house today for some Corn beef and cabbage......

So I am talking to my father when he hits me with the words 'I have to tell you something but I dont want you to get upset' UMMM OK

Anyway so my father has beat cancer 2 times before in the last 10 years....different kinds but he still beat it.....any way so about 2 years ago he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.....he had the surgery to remove the prostate and we thought everything was ok...he had to go for a shot every 3 months since then to keep everything under control.....well now the shots are no longer working and he still has some kind of cancer!!
He has to go for a couple more tests and maybe Chemo.....I dont think I can handle him going through Chemo...it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to witness before I dont wanna do it again....

So needless to say I am freaking out and crying out of control (not in front of him) Please say a prayer that in the end he will be ok!!

**UPDATE**
So today my dad had to go to his dr as a follow up after the recent tests that he has had in the past 2 weeks...................Well the cancer has not spread!!! No Chemo for my daddy ... He does however have to take a pill everyday and a shot every 4 months but thats nothing!! THANK YOU to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers!!

omg I'm so sorry! Luckily I haven't had to deal with a parent being sick, but I have some experience ont he other end... I had cancer when I was 14 and all I can say is that you need to be strong for your father and keep a positive attitude. I really think that staying positive is half the battle, and I know if I didn't have as much love and support as I did, things might not have gone so well.

Your family is in my prayers!
