I was wondering if anyone negotiated their wedding dress price and how much did they go down? Went to bridal reflections and absolutely fell in love with a dress and belt to go with the dress..its a little too much altogether ..would love some advice

You could wait for a trunk show.. Thats probably the best way to get the price down..

Sometimes you might be able to get a discount if your bridal party buys dresses from them also or the mother's.

When I bought my dress, I said I'd only buy it that day if they gave me the trunk show price, otherwise I had no reason not to wait for the trunk show or shop around for a place that would give a trunk show price. On the spot they took 15% off. Hope that helps :)

I have not ordered my dress yet..I am actually between 2 dresses and can't make up my mind! One dress is from Bridal Reflections and the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend so I asked her the lowest she would be able to go and she actually took off almost $400 bucks so def. ask it can't hurt!!!
The other dress is from Lillette's (private label) and they told me that is the price can't go lower.

Even if they cant do better on the price of the dress they will usually try to throw something in to get your business. They came down 150-200 on my dress alone and then they gave me $200 towards a veil and a free blusher. Cant beat that!

Bridal reflections gave me the trunk show pricing, without asking, so i would def inquire about that. It saved a couple hundred.

The sales lady accidently pulled a dress for me that was $1k more than my budget, I wasn't even going to try it on and when I did... I loved it! I saw the price tag and my heart dropped, the owner said that I could have the dress for $1,000 less. I went back a few days later and was able to get them to not charge me tax because I paid for the dress with cash. I say go for it, it can never hurt to ask!

I didnt even have to ask! The dress was higher then my budget and I made that perfectly clear when they showed me the dress. They just happened to make it worth my while

I was at Massapequa on Sat too but I think I saw you on Sunday in Carle Place. I was waiting in the reception area sitting down. I saw you walk out....was that you who forgot your phone in there? They ran out to catch you!

I got mine during a trunk show at Bridal Reflections so it was a bit discounted. Also, they threw in some thing like I want the crinolines to all be in gold net and I'm changing the silver threads in the dress to all gold. Not sure if its really a discount, but they made it sound as though they were doing me a favor! LOL
