i have a florist quote from lovin' oven and sugar magnolias. the prices are almost identical, but sugar magnolias is giving me less. is it worth trying to negotiate w/ her?
i am terrible at bargaining, btw. just wasn't sure whether or not flowers was one of those businesses where they overcharge w/ the expectation that you'll talk them down.

Re: negotiating--florists
I talked down my florist, by telling him what I was quoted and receiving somewhere else.
He lowered the price considerably, I'm sure you could do the same!

Take the better quote to the florist you want and tell them to either meet it or you will use the other company. It's that simple, if they want the business they will do it. Flowers are flowers, you're paying for designer name of the company. I

i kinda don't think she will for me either. she charged me nearly double keyth's price on some things tho--$200 for a floral caketopper.
