Negotiating w RH?

Hi,

I have finally found my dream RH. It is a little pricey and I want to negotiate with them to price it down. I am usually not good at these things. Any advice?

i would just show themand make them understand that you are very interested in booking with them but you feel that their price is a little out of the budget that you were considering. But I would definitely negotiate with them. We talked with our RH and got them down to where we were budgeting and they also threw in some extra's.

The key thing is to let them know you are serious about booking but the figures aren't adding up to what you want...

Mention that you love the place, but it is the higher priced option for you. Say that the other RH you are considering charges X amount per person. It is important to mention the lower number first rather than mention the price they gave you and try to work down from that. That way, psychologically, they will be trying to go up for from a lower price rather than work down from their higher price. You can also say in that if can give you your desired price per person you will sign immediately. We used both of these tactics and they worked very well.

Sometimes if you can guarantee more than they are asking they will lower the PP

Also ask about possibly removing things to lower the price..such an an entree (our's gives 7 choices)...changing your date, or removing stations from your CH...Most places give you so much food no on would notice anyway
