Good morning! SO our first plan was to get married in 2010 but we decided let's just do it in 2009. I was so happy by this decision so let me get to the point LOL. Yesterday I went to book the hall and while I was there I felt like I was going to have a panic attack. My mother and my planner were soooooooooo happy but I was thinking 'why I don't feel like them?' LOL. Did anybody else feel like this?

Re: nervous
we're were nothign but excited. i think your anxiety is cominf from fact that you had 2010 in your mind to begin with and now it's 2009. you will be able to plan a wonderful 2009 wedding and your feeling of excitement will happen soon

Re: nervous
Honestly i didnt feel like that at all. FH & I were so excited during this process. Maybe its that you feel overwhelmed by how much you need to do now. If you werent loving the RH dont book it. Maybe the next place you go to you will have a better feeling. OR maybe you are not ready all together????? HTH. GOOD LUCK!

Re: nervous
it's just because you changed the date...and probably feel overwhelmed with stuff you have to do.. but don't worry.. you have tons of time and it will be FUN AND EXCITING

Re: nervous
yea i felt that way - it was more anxiety that everytime i looked at my ring for 2 weeks i was so sick like felt light headed and dizzy and then it hit me a few weeks after that and the happiness hasnt stopped - i think it was more for other reasons but i do believe that you felt you had more time and it was more lax and now you have entered the 'royal rumble' of bridal planning with all of these vendors and it can get overwhelming - but relax - take a deep breath - we are all here to help

Re: nervous
You're just anxious because now that it is set in stone you're starting to think about all of the things that need to be done. Relax, you have over a year to plan. You'll be fine!

Re: nervous
I didn't have a panic attack but I think that was mostly bc I was still in shock. Like when we were going to look at all these places it didn’t seem like it was real and I just kept laughing!

I definately felt that way because. This a big financial commitment , It is just scary to think about all the money that is involved and I had no clue how to plan a wedding.

Re: nervous
OMG the first time I went into a store to look at dresses FH wanted me to go so we could decide on colors i was just soooooo overwhelmed i almost has a anxiety attack in the store.......... i guess it's somewhat normal..... now that we have been planning for 5 months it has gotten easier. I am the most indecisive person and I finally found a dress I love and ordered it!!!!!!
it will get easier just don't rush into doing things that you don't feel ready for it will be easier to not overwhelm yourself if you focus on one thing at a time
hope this helps don't worry i have faith in you... if I can do it anyone can

Re: nervous
YES!! I felt the exact same way. I picked my hall with my mom, sister who is also my MOH and my FH. They were all like this is THE ONE and I was just freaking out and asking sooo many questions about minute details that didn't matter. I just had a million things going through my head. But we went back the next day to book and then I REALLY ENJOYED THAT MOMENT!!
