Nervous...

Okay I found the photographer of my dreams and I LOVE all of his work and very confident that my pictures will come out amazing. But i'm scared about signing the contract. My FSIL keeps saying that due to the economy a lot of places are going to go out of business,etc and that companys can close at any moment. And that we should wait to book vendors but I know vendors are being booked and worried about our photographer getting booked.

I'm worried about giving $$$ to hold the date and things going wrong. Do any of you ladies have or had these fears when booking vendors?

Not really. I'm using vendors that have a great reputation and that have been in business for many years. But if the photographer is fairly new, I would be concerned.

What photographer is it?
