Nervous !

Nervous !

Went for my first fitting today and there was no piece at the bottom of my lace scalloped dress to use for a hem. So they have to pick it up from the waist and sew my belt on. I can't help but be nervous! Anybody else nervous about alterations!!??

Don't worry, I had NO idea how they would hem the bottom of mine. They did use a piece of lace from the bottom though but she cut it off while it was ON me!
It's totally fine though, they know what they are doing! I was nervous but it turns out it wasn't as crazy as I thought

I would try not to stress they are used to doing this and I'm sure everyone gets nervous :) I mean it is the DRESS! lol

My dress has to be hemmed but the whole bottom has lace on it so they actually are going to have to take off all the lace and then reattach it plus my back is going from a reg zipper to corset. I just try to breathe and know they do this all the time and are experts.

I was warned after 1st fitting lace appliqués will be hanging.
Also removing lace at the bottom to hem. My manyfacturer forest offer hollow to hem.

YES! I'm so nervous because when I went to try it on for the first time a couple of months ago it was huge and I am just praying they will be able to fit it to my body the way I envision it. I'm sure they will do a great job with your dress though. They really can do amazing things :)
