Nervous about Corset

Hi Ladies,
I know I posted this about 2 months ago but this is how bad I get when it comes to my phobia..

Does anyone know what is entailed in getting a custom corset?

I have a very very bad phobia with people touching me.. Its known by everyone and my bridal shop I purchased my wedding dress was really good about it.. I kind of know them..

Well, I have to go to get my corset because my dress is in and Im so afraid of getting this corset and someone having to touch me that I get all hot and sweatie and just feel like I want to faint..

So if any brides out there have had a custom corset fitting.. Could you please let me know what in entailed..

I havent had a custom corset made so I cant help explain but just wanted to offer some support!.... expect that youll get through it fine and you will! just take some deep breaths and think about how excited you are for your special day and about FH. youll be okay. it will prob be over faster than you expected and youll feel so good for getting thru it. remember all those suggestions from your last post about this!!!!

I would avoid a custom fitting.... there are so many good corsets out there... I'm sure you can go to a store, try on several off the rack, and avoid the whole situation with people touching you....

I'm not as bad as you described but I hate being touched by people. I get fraked when a trainer at the gym tries to stretch me! I hope it all works out and doing all the breathing and saying it's almost over. And maybe a zanax wouldn't hurt

problem with this is that avoidance usually heightens anxieties about things. you just keep avoiding and no confronting or desensitizing yourself to it a little bit, its no good. i think its GREAT that youre going for it, even if nervous!! its ok to be nervous about it. bring someone youre close to for support, youll do great. let the lady know youre a little nervous and whatnot. GL!

I'm not getting a custom corset but my dress is a corset back...all the woman did is lace it up for me...no touching at all, which was great since it was bad enough she had to see my rolls

Heres the problem.. I'm stressing the fitting.. The lady I got my dress from a bridal shop that is my sister in-laws cousin and she let me take all the messurements myself..

But this 'fitting' is driving me crazy...
