My dress was supposed to arrive last Monday as per the designer's update to the store (I had called a few weeks before to ask whether they also carried veils so while I was on the phone they looked up the status of my dress). I called last week when I didn't hear from them and my dress wasn't in yet. It is still not in... I hate to say it, but I am getting a little freaked out!
update -- just called the store while I was eating and found out that they are still waiting for this week's shipment because it is probably stuck in customs right now (coming from Spain). They think it will actually be delivered before Thanksgiving because it should be in the box that hasn't arrived yet. Yay!

i wouldn't freak out, you still have time. give it til dec. 1 & then if its not in you can start freaking out. can they give you an approximate date of when they can expect it?

i think its still a bit early to go n do that... i would say if its not in by jan, then you may have some issues... fittings are 6-8 weeks before i think

Ok I vote for waiting until December 1st and if it's not in, going in person and DEMANDING answers. But honestly, if it was me, I would be calling every day checking on it.

I agree you have until mid February for your wedding. The alterations can be done quickly. My DIL had all the alterations on her gown done the week before the wedding because they were living out of town so Kleinfelds scheduled her for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and she picked her gown up on the Saturday before the wedding and it fit perfectly. Now if it is not in by the first week in January then you can start to freak, but not yet.
