So, I noticed that a bunch of the other summer 07 brides have started to look at dresses. I figured that I'd call and make some appt's to start but then all of a sudden just the THOUGHT of trying on dresses made me nervous. Did this happen to anyone else???? I'm not sure if it's the....I wish I lost 10 pounds before trying on dresses or the reality of IM GONNA BE A
I was kinda surprised that I was actually a bit excited/nervous

Re: Nervous already?????
I was so not looking forward to going and I thought I was insane for feeling this way. I let the nerves get the best of me, but when I got there and started looking around, I loved it.
I think I was more nervous in not finding 'The One' and being unsure.
It is natural and once you start trying on dresses, you will love it.

That is totally normal. I think we all have a little anxiety about trying dresses on. It's part nerves part excitement. I think maybe I have been procrastinating subconciously. I keep saying I am going to start trying dresses in May but I haven't made any phone calls yet.

I haven't started looking at all since I have A LOT of time, but the other day one of my BMs and I were shopping so we decided just to go into the bridal suite at Macy's. I was completely and totally overwhelmed!!

Re: Nervous already?????
Dress shopping was the first thing I did... I went about a week after getting engaged, so tehre still was all of that excitement...
But I think if I waited I'd be nervous too.

Thanks everyone!! I think I'm going to give myself another week or two and then start. Of course I'll let everyone know when and how it goes. I'm still just too nervous to do it yet.

Absolutly!!! For some reason, going dress shopping and picking out 'the one' really made it all sunk in. All good stuff though!

Re: Nervous already?????
I thought I was really going into 'panic' mode trying on dresses! It was definitely a surreal feeling! 3rd dress tried on was the one I bought too!
