I am so nervous i can't even express....i can't even focus on these posts thought they would take my mind off of it. wish me luck so i at least finish it!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and wouldn't you know it....i have to go to my cousin's wedding at the Mark Hotel right after i finish! no dancing for me at that wedding!!

good luck, i''m sure you''ll do great. my one piece of advice is try not to start out too fast. i ran the marine corps two years ago and with all the excitement etc. i started much faster than my normal pace and by the end i was really, really tired b/c of it.
may i ask what your bib number is and your pace? i''ll be watching at 69th and 1st ave and i''ll cheer for you if i see you!

remember...the worst part is the Verazanno Bridge...and then the bridge in Queens...once you get into Manhattan (even with the trip to the Bronx) you''ll be carried by the cheers and spectators...

You will be fine......Just imagine the sense of accomplishment you will feel afterward. I think it is incredible.

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for your kind support!! it means a lot! i wish i had read this earlier to give my bib # to those watching! it would have been nice! thanks to those who cheered-the crowds were the best part of the day! it was a hot hot day to run a marathon so it was torture but i finished! that's all i wanted to do! took me 5 hrs! yikes! :) it was a lot of fun though- FH met me at mile 24 with reese sticks and a gatorade i was so out of it i started to cry and he had to tell me to keep going! it was crazy. then the wedding was beautiful at the Mark Hotel-what a gorgeous hotel. classy wedding and the food was great. she had this amazing looking sylvia weinstock cake that was perfect. it was beautiful! thank you again for your kind words!!
