nervous... trying to get up the courage to ask ... UPDATED

my friend to be a BM tonight... i feel nervous though since i already asked my BP a while ago but i really want to add this friend.

aggh whyy am i so nervous?

UPDATE: Yayyy! She seems really excited and happy!! She said her only hesitation is she doesn't know how much she'll be able to help me plan since she might be starting her MD/PhD program in June and doesn't know where she'll be yet... but I told her not to worry, all of the big stuff is planned already and anyway I understand that she's in CT and I'm out of state for law school all the time so I don't expect her to help me plan at all. (I do have one BM at home who helped me with LOTS of that stuff, but only because she really wanted to be involved, not because I expected it at all) Yayyy I feel so much better! I just dropped her off at a pizza party at the med school (she's staying with us while she's in town for interviews) but hopefully we will go over more details when I pick her up in an hour or so....

DO you feel that she might feel hurt or offended, like 'why did you wait do long to ask me?' FH is still int he process of tracking one of our friends down to ask him ( his mom is dying so hes back and forth to the hosp) and thats what hes afraid is going to happen, esp since his wife and 2 sons are in the BP! (now a family affair) I told him not to worry, he has no idea how long its taken FH to pick out the GMs. I was asked to be in someones wedding 3 mons before! I knew I was being asked last, but she came to me and said her wedding wouldnt be the same without me. It made me feel good. She will feel honored.

dont be nervous i had to tell my bridal party that they werent going to be in it because they were driving me crazy lol that was nervous now i have to tell his sister shes out too and she the onlyone in his family in it

yay glad it worked out!!

We just did the same thing...i been telling Steve to ask his friend for over a year and he finally did and greatfully accepted and was very happy!

yay another BM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update 2: Yayyy!!! She's definitely in as a BM!

The only potential problem is I think she needs to order her dress ASAP -- my other BMs ordered theirs in Sept The dress shop said as of right now she can order w/out a rush charge but I want to make sure she can get it before that charge kicks in.

She's travelling around right now doing tons of interviews and doesn't really have time to get measured for another week or week and a half. I hope that's enough time!

Thanks everyone! Now our bridal party is uneven but I don't care...

Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, my laptop isnt connecting to the internet for some reason and im on our crappy old desktop...
