Ok I have to vent. I ordered my BM dresses from Netbride. Everything was great. A pleasure to work with and they came in early.
But..... we ordered seperates. They are all different shades. My MOH's top does not match the color of the skirt. They tell me that there is nothing that they can do as the factory does not quarantee that the colors will match. I have never heard of such a thing. They have pretty much told me that there is nothing that they can do for me. So not only are they all differnt shades but my MOH has to wear 2 different shades.
Needless to say I am upset over this.
So even though netbride has had great reviews here I wanted to add my 2 cents.

Did they specify beforehand that separates may not match?

I'd get on their heels to do something sincc they never specified that this was a possibility. Become the biggest pain in their asses if you have to!

Re: Netbride.com
Sorry, but I just found this on their site
Colors: Most factories make bridesmaid dresses in 20-30 different colors. When you decide on a dress and if you need colors, let us know the color AREA or color you're interested in. We'll then give you the colors within that spectrum, or tell you if it comes in the color you want.
Dye lots can NOT be guaranteed between different style #'s and/or fabrics.

This says it cannot be guaranteed between diff style #'s and fabrics --- but what does not match in your case is the top and bottom of the SAME dress, right? It appears as long as the material for the top and bottom of the dress is the same, their website legalese does not cover their a$$ in this case. I would call again and raise he!!.

Yeah, I just re-read this, and if it's the same style and fabric, then you have a definite case!

Re: Netbride.com
1st call them and tell them they are non conforming to what you ordered - they are the same material and were ordered together so there should not be a difference in the color. Tell them that you want them to exchange them at once. I would also put this in writting and fax, and mail it to them with your demands -
If you put this on your credit cards then you should take it up with the credit card company.
I can understand that they might not match each others dresses but the tops and bottoms should match - do NOT let them tell you that they shouldn't -
Do not wait to do this - the longer you put it off the more weaker your case will be.

They might come back with the fact that most seperates have their own style #. So regardless of the fact that top #432 goes with bottom #432a, they're still different style #'s.
BUT - I would still definitely go back until you get the response you are looking for. Good Luck!!
