worst day ever! it's so sad and it makes me worry so much about fh (he's an fdny firefighter) and about me working in a high rise on the water. rip

It's so sad....

This morning on my way into the office I walked by a memorial service that was going on and they were ringing a bell and saying people's names that died in the 9/11 attacks. It made me tear up and want to burst out crying

at least three times today ive had to pull myself together... and its only 10am...

they are doing some sort of service in Penn Station... and I ran by because i could feel myself getting upset

I was a block away from the towers and it was the worse day of my life, thinking you are going to die at any moment and seeing people taking their own lives.

It feels like yesterday. I really think this should be made into a federal holiday. I work about 15 mins away from Ground Zero and there are so many police officers around today.

So sad... A friend of mine lost his father in there and we weren't friends at the time this happened, but he was FREAKING out when he found out that his father died... Teachers and security had to restrain him.. Won't ever forget it..
