I just got back from The Wedding Center in Commack and their service s-ucks with a capital S!!!!! Not only the salesperson insulted me, but my maid of honor as well... So if any of you ladies are going there, just be prepared to not let their attitudes bother you! They do have a big selections of dresses!!
SOoo....I found out what type of dresses fit my body and I think I found the dress that I loved. It was the first one I put on and my maid of honor was in tears!!! So, at the end of the visit, I was happy!!!! Of course, I'm so hesitated to get the dress there since they were so rude =( BUT, they are cheap though...and I wonder why????

hey...as long as you found what ua re looking for tell the sales girl to kiss ur a$$!!!... depending on my $$ situatin that would make me mad enough not to order my dress there...howvere if i was really oushing the budget then i would bite my toungh and save wat i had to say until after my dress was in. THEN...I would give them a piece of my mind!!

I got my BM's dresses from there and I can't say I received the best service, but my experience there hasn't been bad. If you do decide to order your dress from there give them a false date to be sure your dress comes in early enough. Also another thing to consider, I've heard alot of these brides on the board mention not being happy with their alterations. I am getting my BM's dresses altered somewhere else.
I think one reason why people have so many complaints is because they know they are the cheapest in town so they know brides will always come to purchase from them.

Ugh!!! I know exactly what you mean!! I was just there last Friday and I was ready to strangle the lady that was helping me!! She kept bringing out the wrong dresses that were totally NOT what I asked for. Then she proceeded to say that she had nothing else for me to try on because I was so picky. Then when she finally brought out a dress that was my taste, I asked her if they had anything else like this dress and she said 'Well what's wrong with this one?' Are you KIDDING me?? I was ready to slap her!!

I think you should still go because they do have a big selections on dresses!!!! Just ignore them when they are giving you an attitude!!!! They are really cheap too!!!!!

At least you found a dress - that sort of makes the miserable experience a little better... but not really! I have heard terrible things about them!
Get the dress you love somewhere else...they don't deserve to make money on you

i went there with one of my friends for their wedding too!! they definitely werent the best in terms of service but hey its probably better to get your dress there since the dresses are so cheap because if you go to say another bridal suite with pricey dresses,,,,i have heard people getting snotty and stuck up people...so why pay the extra money for a dress when the people are rude to you either way.....thats how i look at it...
But even so.....if your on a budget and the dress that you love is there....get it then give them a piece of your mind.....Just like what Penny said!!!

I went there about 2 weeks ago and I felt like I was being rushed by the salesperson. I got a bad vibe from the place. I vowed not to go back I will not spend my money anyplace that makes me feel uncomfortable. I also heard the alteration work they do there is terrible. I met someone today who stated she used them for her wedding and the service was horrible. She stated they were really rude to her about some invitations she ordered there and not wanting to count them to make sure they were all there.
